The Club Sports Medicine Program

The Nayden Rehabilitation Clinic has teamed with Student Health Services and UConn Club Sports to provide an injury assessment program for athletes participating in select club sports during the academic school year.  This program is staffed by physicians, physical therapists and athletic trainers all working collaboratively to ensure that injuries are identified and managed so that participants can return to their sport.

Injury Assessment Program

This program provides injury assessment based upon the severity of the injury.  Only injuries sustained during club sports participation will be assessed.  Club sports athletes participating in rugby, lacrosse, ice hockey, wrestling or gymnastics should contact your teams athletic trainer directly.

  • Moderate to Severe Injuries
Require immediate attention. Go to Student Health Services and indicate that you are a Club Sports Athlete.
  • Mild to Moderate Injuries
May require assessment, but not emergency attention. Call 486-8080 to schedule an assessment at the Nayden Clinic. Please identify yourself as a Club Sports Athlete and your sport.
  • Any appointments after your assessment will be charged to your applicable insurance provider.
